The Black Heart Procession – The Spell

The fifth full length recording by The Black Heart Procession. Art work created  by Pall and laid out over a weekend and few work days by David and Pall. Because of 11th hour changes each format ended up having it’s own unique cover.

Working with David was always a breeze . All though I’m not sure he could say the same about me , as i would have some wild ideas . Yet  that just goes to show how cool and easy going he is and always just rolled with the punches . He always had valuable input yet respected me as the artist . I hand made most of the art work for the records we worked on together so getting them scanned in and the lay out right was serious work . It wasn’t always as simple as that though cause once we had it in the computer we did do a lot of manipulation as well . He definitely knows his craft . We even had time usually by the end of a project to knock a few cold ones back . A very talented and kind man that’s why his credit list is as long as it is.
